The broader market rose Wednesday morning and Nasdaq futures gained 1% during premarket trading following a strong earnings report from Microsoft.

Microsoft Corp. (Nasdaq: MSFT) beat top- and bottom-line Wall Street estimates Tuesday afternoon, reporting a big jump in revenue from its cloud business segment. Shares rose 8% during after-market hours.

Google parent Alphabet Inc. Class A (Nasdaq: GOOGL) also came in ahead of estimates.

All eyes are now on Meta Platforms Inc. (Nasdaq: META) as it prepares to report after the bell Wednesday.
