Opening a trading account to buy stocks is easy. But knowing which stocks to watch without a solid plan or strategy is no easy task.

However, we’re in the middle of December…

That means the stock market is giving away tons of helpful clues to investors and traders who pay close attention.

So what are the best stocks to watch or buy right now? Keep scrolling this page to find out.

Head Trader Roger Scott

Before we dive straight into today’s analysis, let me summarize some important factors for you…

Final retail figures for 2020 come out this week. If the numbers are not rock solid, the odds of seeing a Santa Claus rally will reduce dramatically.

Both the S&P 500 and Nasdaq 100 are showing momentum levels that we haven’t seen in over 11 years!

And if that wasn’t already enough, the market also looks tired as it’s diverging between classic oscillators.

All three of these things point to a rubber band that is stretched out and needs to snap back before expanding once again.

But before we get too far into today’s discussion, I don’t want you to think the market is turning bearish. I have no reason to believe that will happen right now; however, it’s not unusual for the market to contract before going higher. I’m convinced that is what is happening here.

That’s right. Not a big correction, but rather a small pause in the upside we’ve been seeing for the majority of 2020.

And I want my readers to be prepared…

You see, large-cap tech is not the place to be right now — especially with the Nasdaq 100 posting gains over 47%. (And before you ask, no. That is not a typo.) These gains are just not sustainable, and I urge you to consider lowering your exposure.

However, I have found two nontraditional financial stocks to watch that could hand us some big gains.

The first ticker is a green energy company. It’s structured as a real estate investment trust (REIT) that I think you’re going to love. I mean who wouldn’t like this stock to watch considering President-elect Joe Biden takes office in January.

If you’re wondering, I’m still neutral on traditional finance stocks because they usually move in line with economic growth… and the economy is not expanding as aggressively.

P.S. What if I told you the most important price indicators in the entire stock market triggered every Friday night after the markets close?

And that it could hand you thousands in profits every single week…

It’s true! This bizarre trading phenomenon happens every single Friday at 4:01 p.m. EST without failure… regardless what happens on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday or even Friday.

Live Trade Profit Head Trader Josh Martinez and I have developed a proprietary trading system specifically designed to isolate these recurring market phenomena.
