The major indexes slipped lower as earnings reports continue to roll in — and more in Wednesday’s stock market recap.
Investors remain concerned about how some of the United States’ largest companies will fare as interest rates tick higher and fears of a recession grow.
Microsoft Corp. (Nasdaq: MSFT) is the latest tech titan to report. And while the company exceeded analysts’ estimates, its guidance was lackluster, causing shares to fall 2%.
The Boeing Co. (NYSE: BA) fell almost 2% during premarket trading Wednesday morning as the airline company missed earnings and revenue estimates despite an uptick in demand.
Next up, we have Tesla Inc. (Nasdaq: TSLA) and International Business Machines Corporation (NYSE: IBM) reporting after the close Wednesday afternoon.
